I have had problems finding a good blush that does not make my cheeks too pink or get seen before I do. I prefer a subtle look, so I gave MAC's Loverush try, it's a very faded burgundy color. I load my brush and give it a couple of taps to get rid of the extra and that gives just the amount of coverage that I want. I would recommend this shade for darker complextions.
This is a great pink plush for my fair skin. I was worried it was going to be too dark as it looked darker than I expected in the pan but it looked very natural once I applied it with a brush. This blush was featured with the new Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick on Bobbi Brown's website and now I see why. This is a perfect day time blush.
Pros:great day time blush Cons:small container, doesn't come with a brush for a quick touch ups
I really loved this. Its a very bright looking pinky color in the container and if you use your fingers to apply, it can be very bright looking. I use a skunk brush to apply so that it doesn't look heavy. It's the only blush that I've found that last all day and looks really natural. I love to use it as a base as well. I'll apply a little and then put on a regular blush and it gives it a bit more oomph and allows my powder blush to last longer. For reference, I have really oily skin. I got lucky and got it on sale at TJ Maxx for 2.99.
Pros:Last all day, can be very sheer, very natural looking Cons:Pot is a bit small for fingers, can be too bright if applied to heavily, kind pricey
I really didn't like this product. It looks muddy on my light/medium, warm toned skin. The swatch online was much lighter than how this looked in person. The packaging is OK. It's like a stick of deodorant. I didn't like the texture of the product. It's not very smooth, and it gripped my skin. I thought it was a pain to try and blend. The pigmentation is decent. I didn't notice any odd or strong perfume smells to it. I really didn't feel like this was worth the money, and I would not repurchase this.
Pros:No bad smells Cons:Doesn't blend well, color looks muddy
This is from the Sonic Chic collection. It is a nice, subtle pink. I have light to medium warm toned skin, and I find this gives my cheeks a natural look. It gives a nice glow without being glittery. I don't find this blush to be all that pigmented. It doesn't last me all day, so I find mid-day I have to touch up my blush. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind using it with a base or something to ensure it lasts all day, but if you planned on using this alone then maybe this isn't the blush for you. I would not repurchase, simply because I felt this blush didn't live up to my expectations. I would prefer it be more pigmented, and last longer. This blush is pretty, but it's mediocre performance keeps me from truly loving this blush.
Pros:Natural pink, nice glow, blends nicely Cons:Not very pigmented, doesn't last all day
This is a very pretty blush. It's a very natural, glowy pink. It's nicely pigmented, and the glow doesn't look glittery. It blends smoothly. It does not come with a brush. It doesn't have a perfume smell, or any odd smells to it. The color lasts me all day. I would definitely repurchase this blush.
Pros:Nicely pigmented, beautiful pink, nice glow, blends easily Cons:no brush(not really a con for me)
Talk about a pigmented blush! A little goes a long way, so apply lightly and then build on the color if you need to. It's definitely more of a peachy blush(despite it looking quite orange in the package). It does not come packaged with a brush, so you will need your own blush brush. It lasts all day without fading. It has a bit of glow, but doesn't look glittery on me. It doesn't have a perfume smell, or much of a smell at all for that matter. Definitely would repurchase this.
Pros:Very pigmented, nice glow, lasts all day Cons:Not widely available
I was really excited to try this blush, since I really like Stila's shadows. It's a bright pinky peach color. I would almost describe it as coral. It's matte. I was very disappointed in this blush. It's not very pigmented. I have to keep applying to get it to show up on me, and I am not very dark. I am glad I bought this on Beauty Crunch and didn't pay full price for it. So not worth the money.
I love this blush. It contains no shimmer at all and is very matte. i think this is a wonderful product and it looks really good on my skin and gives me a healthy looking glow!
Sunbasque is a shimmery peachy bronze. It's one of my staples during the summer. I find it pretty pigmented so I use my Flirt! Feather Dust-her brush to apply it when I'm less tanned to warm up my complexion. The shimmer isn't garish, it gives a nice glow. I'd definitely repurchase.
Pros:Beautiful natural color when I'm tanned/warms up my paler winter complexion. Cons:
Pink Swoon is a very soft matte pink. It gives a beautiful pink flush, and I love how this looks with a smoky eye. I never have to worry about over applying when it comes to this one.
Review on: Loreal - True Match Super-Blendable Blush in Innocent Flush
This has become my HG blush! I have light to medium, yellow under toned skin and this blush looks so pretty and natural on me! I use it all the time. It's matte, but when I want to I add shimmer or highlight to give it some added glow. It is nicely pigmented. I don't have to use a lot to get the desired look. It goes on smoothly, and it blends really nice too. It doesn't have any odd smell, and doesn't smell of perfume. I do not like the latch on it. I find that I keep accidently opening the bottom where the brush is held instead of the top where the blush pan is. I have not used the brush that comes with it, so I can't comment on the brush quality. The color lasts me all day. I have been using this all the time and haven't gotten any breakouts from it. I definitely recommend this blush.
Pros:Good pigmentation, smooth and blendable, lasts all day, nice peachy color, widely available, hasn't caused breakouts, really affordable if you get it on a buy one get one free sale Cons:Not a one!
Review on: Elizabeth Arden - Color Intrigue Cheekcolor - Pink Star 08
Pink Star is my HG true bright pink blush. A makeup artist used it on me during a makeover and I was immediatly sold. I love everything about this blush. I find it pigmented. Easily shows up on my fair skin. And it lasts as long as my MAC blushes. Rarely needs a touch up. It has some silver glitter in it..but not obnoxious chunks. Very smooth and silky and this light glitter helps to give a glow. Its very easy to blend on my cheeks and just looks stunning on. Its my perfect pink. I reach for this blush the most and will need to buy a second soon. Im running out! It also works as a highlighter when I use a dark pink or reddish blush! I put this along the top of the darker color...blend...and instantly have the most beautiful cheeks ever. Oh one point...the little brush it comes with is useless for applying it really. So you'll need a decent blush brush to use this product!
Pros:Pigmented, soft & silky, glowy, long lasting, nice packaging, perfect true pink Cons:A little expensive, some may not like the little bit of glitter but its not bad, need a good blush brush for it
